RANDY QUARLES has represented financial
institutions and other businesses in a wide range of litigation, including shareholder derivative actions, class actions and
complex commercial disputes. In addition to his law practice, he is an adjunct instructor and co-director of the Judicial
Externship Program at The University of Alabama School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.
His experience includes trial and appellate practice in state and federal courts; arbitrations; financial services litigation;
insurance defense; domestic relations law (divorce and child custody/support); and commercial litigation.
FRAN QUARLES has two decades of experience in general
litigation in state and federal court, drafting and reviewing contracts, appellate practice, with particular expertise in
healthcare, banking and domestic relations law (divorce and child custody/support). In 2011, she was certified
as a guardian ad litem by the State of Alabama and served in that capacity in both juvenile and federal court. Also
in 2011, she has been traine in the collaborative divorce process, which is a new alternative dispute resolution method that
emphasizes a more constructive divorce process rather than destructive.
Before leaving her last position as Associate General Counsel with
HealthSouth Corporation, she was named among ten "Outstanding In-House Counsel to Hospitals/Healthcare Systems"
in Nightingale's Healthcare News.
